About Oyuky Deza
I am known as a motivating fitness trainer. I have a passion for fitness, nutrition, and overall health. I’ve been working out for over 20 years. Due to the pandemic and gyms lockdown, I had to find a way to stay in shape and healthy training from home. I must confess it took me a little while, but I figured out. I have been training at home since the pandemic started. Now, I am well versed with all types of resistance training methods (free weights, machines, bodyweight, Forbes Riley’s’ SpinGym, and all types of resistance bands).
I hold a Master’s in Exercise Science and Health Promotion, and a Master’s in Public Health (MPH). In addition, I am an ISSA certified personal trainer and certified as a nutritionist coach by PN. During my MPH, I became aware of the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle to prevent chronic medical conditions such as diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure, some types of cancers, anxiety, and depression.
My best friend passed away from COVID-19 due to pre-existing conditions that could’ve been prevented by following a healthy lifestyle. Therefore, more than ever, I am pursuing my true passion and using my God-given talents to motivate and encourage the world to achieve everlasting health using mindset, healthy nutrition, and physical activity

Working out with Oyuki is wonderful.
She is dynamic, a great guide, and keeps you focused.
The two challenges I´ve participated in have both been very complete, demanding and fun.
I started after not doing exercise for a long time and it felt really good to start moving. I would feel my muscles becoming strong and agile.
She adapts each workout for different needs, body types and special needs. During the challenge I went into a detox program and could not engage in strong movement that would raise my heart rate, she encouraged me to continue at my own pace and adapt things for me to just keep active. She always gave me feedback and inspiration to maintain my goals and cheered when I accomplished.

Oyuky is not just a face on the screen delivering ‘content’ – so many coaches just have an upload and a follow-me approach with not interaction or feedback. This is NOT the Oyuky approach. Coach O is also a great source of information and provided many downloadable resources to enhance ones learning and understanding around fitness and health.
Coach O has a vast amount of knowledge and experience, and this was evident through the way she was able to adapt the routine and offer alternative, adapted actions that would work the specific body part, but reduce the impact or risk on the area of concern. A great asset in a Coach when you may have injury concerns.
