How do I clear my cache/cookies or go “incognito”?
If you’re having a technical issue, are unable to log in or if you have bought an additional landing page and are not able to log in (previous details are cached) you may be able to resolve it by clearing your cache and cookies, and/or using an “incognito” page to log in…….because it’s the first step to try solving problems on this platform.
Clear your cache & cookies on a Mac computer
- Open your internet browser, like Firefox or Chrome.
- At the same time, press Command-Shift-Delete.
Clear your cache & cookies on a Windows computer
- Open your internet browser, like Firefox or Chrome.
- At the same time, press Ctrl-Shift-Delete.
Clear your cache & cookies using browser settings
Most internet browsers have menu options that let you clear your cache and cookies. For help with clearing your cache and cookies in a specific browser, search the help section.
After you clear your cache and cookies, you’ll need to re-enter your login information. If you’ve forgotten your password, you can reset it.
Also, try an incognito browser
If you don’t want to clear your cache and cookies, you can also try using a private or incognito browser. After opening an incognito or private window in your internet browser, you will need to log in again
If your problem is solved when using private or incognito mode, it can also be solved by clearing your cache and cookies.
- To open an incognito window, start Chrome and click the wrench icon in the top right corner of the screen.
- Click New Incognito Window and start browsing.
- Alternatively, you can press Ctrl+ Shift + N to bring up a new incognito window without entering the Chrome settings menu. For a MacBook, push cmd + Shift + N
