I started working with a top Financial Advisor about 3 years ago with their Western Cape client birthday list. Sending birthday gifts to all their clients directly to their door.
This client has nationwide customers and after the first year, I asked if we could offer gifts to his upcountry clients as well.
Unfortunately, our delivery costs at the time from our couriers were just too high as he was using a Johannesburg gifting option to sort out the upcountry clients.
I kept working and going back to my couriers to give us a more competitive rate and eventually negotiated a cost-effective delivery charge that made us more competitive with nationwide delivery.
Went back to my client and was given the green light the next year to do their nationwide client birthday gift list.
And we are still going strong even through the Covid-19 situation. Although they had to cut back a little, the work remained with me despite challenging times. Looking forward to a more normal year with great service and gifting solutions for my client to all their clients in 2021 as well.
My client gets glowing accolades from his clients for his care and appreciation on their birthdays – and that means I am doing a great job for him, and that’s exactly why I do what I do, to make my clients look awesome and their recipients feel amazing.
