I have been asking clients, buyers, sellers and other people about their thoughts on selling their homes and viewings during this Covid-19 period.
Most sellers have said that they are generally willing to allow their agent and some potential buyers inside their homes if done under the right conditions and precautions are taken such as wearing masks, gloves and sanitising.
They are less comfortable, however, in the estate agent hosting show houses. This is understandable, given the health concerns associated with social contact these days and to be honest, as an estate agent I too welcome this as I do also fear myself and my family getting infected.
So the question is, if you need to sell your house now, what can we do to make sure you, your family, the estate agent selling the house, and potential buyers stay safe in the process?
Now more than ever, it’s important to make sure you have an agent who has a digital game plan and an effective online marketing strategy when selling your house. One of the ways your agent can help with this is to make sure your listing photos and virtual tours stand out from the crowd, thereby giving buyers a detailed and thorough view of your home.
So, if you’re ready to sell, a company like Virtual Realty has practices in place that will help you sell your home whilst abiding by the laws of the country.
