One of the reasons that so many people turn to groups and ask for recommendations rather than google something, is that they want a personal recommendation. They will far quicker trust a personal recommendation (even from a stranger), than go with the first company that comes up on google.
Are you giving your customers a reason to recommend you? Take a moment to remember that every time you go over and beyond what is expected of you, you stand a good chance that that person will recommend you to others.
